Don Bullock began
mounting fine portraits
on canvas in 1981 in the
Old Master's tradition
which still today,
reveals the most
realistic genuine artist
canvas texture in
professional
photographs.
All
Master's
Canvas
photographs and
Gallery Wraps from
Bullock Professional have
the emulsion of the
photograph
'hand-stripped' from
the paper backing
before
mounting your image
to artist canvas.
This unique, yet
tedious
method allows the
highest quality
canvas texture to be
revealed through the
photograph onto the
surface.
Once your fine
photographs are
attached to real
canvas, precise heat
and high-pressure
pneumatic mounting
equipment are used
to insure
a long-lasting
canvas presence.
The Master's
Canvas method of
canvassing a
photograph, allows
the most realistic
canvas texture as
compared to lower
quality inkjet type
'sprayed on'
canvas. Inkjet
canvas requires a
lesser canvas
grain so the inkjet
canvas can receive
the ink
application. This
is why inkjet canvas
can't look like the
Master's Canvas used
by artists.
